The Buzz Bulb, which is shaped like a regular light bulb, screws into a light socket of your motion detector light system. However instead of giving off light, when triggered, it emits an audible alarm -- loud enough to frighten any prowler while alerting those inside your home. The Buzz Bulb works well protecting homes during the daytime when lights are inactive. Customers also like the noise benefit of the Buzz Bulb at night because it not only frightens prowlers -- but also scares unwelcome animals, such as deer or raccoons, away from gardens and trash cans. Whereas lights alone don't have this effect. Since most motion detectors accept 2 lights -- one socket can still be used for a light and the other for the Buzz Bulb. The Buzz Bulb is ideal for protecting garages, sheds, outside workshops, barns and gardens. It's also good for alerting you if children or pets approach swimming pools or other restricted areas. The alarm sounds until the area is clear and the detector automatically switches off.
