The Company's Revenge: Medieval England was a Game of Thrones (The Company of Archers Book 15)
This is another epic novel in the great saga of The Company of English Archers, the archers who accompanied England's King Richard on his crusade and struggled to return to England when Richard abandoned his army and fled. In the course of trying return home, the company's handful of survivors, now led by a serf from Kent, took to the sea and ended up founding a great action-oriented shipping empire whose war galleys and men affected Medieval England's great and brutal game of thrones. It is the year 1216. The Moors and Christians are fighting for control of Spain, the Church is corrupt, the galleys of the Company of Archers are fighting with the pirates of Algiers and Tunis for control of the Mediterranean, and King John is still at war with his rebel barons who want to replace him with Louis of France. William, the one-time serf who rose to command the company, is raiding the Moorish coast with a fleet of the company's galleys as he returns from his annual visit to the company's base on Cyprus to its permanent home and training camp in Cornwall. This continues the story of the archers' betrayal and revenge.
