The following interview with the author was conducted in December, 2015.

Q - What makes Control unique?

A - Each of the books are one of five Parts of a massive novel, Control. Book 1, McKuen's Revenge, is a crime thriller that includes conspiracy, kidnapping, a serial killer and vigilante justice. Since I love reading mystery and thriller, private detective, political thrillers, and vigilante justice novels, I'm producing these genres in one book.

For instance, Books 1 and 2, McKuen's Revenge and Coil's Cold Justice are crime thrillers and share a few scenes from different peoples' points of view. Books 3 and 4, Annie's War and Carla's Mission introduce a political thriller and technothriller aspect while linking back to Books 1 and 2, and ahead to Book 5.

Each of the first four Books are based on a new lead character. The idea is to introduce and focus on each person, while at the same time driving the action forward, a real page-turner. Each Book's story so it stands alone, and you can read them in any order. All of the story and subplot threads tie up in Book 5, Annihilation, but each one contains its own main plot that climaxes and resolves in that Book of the series.
