This is a stand-alone sequel to The Doll Academy: Passing Notes, and set in the same world as The Doll Academy: Late Admission.

Academy students Maggie and Julie are tapped to go to a fancy party for some important customers, but their friend Tony has a different agenda.

Excerpt:
â€œDo you know Julie or Phoebe? Spend any time with them?â€ Spencer sounded a lot more curious about that. His touch was firmer as he spoke.
â€œYes, Master,â€ I nodded and said, â€œWeâ€™re not close, but we attend many of the same classes. Theyâ€™re both in Etiquette with me, attend the same gym sessions and so on.â€ I wasnâ€™t supposed to talk about what all three of us did with Tony, not even with Master, so I added a little lamely, â€œWeâ€™ve hung out sometimes.â€
â€œSo you girls do have free time?â€ Spencer asked, â€œWhatâ€™sâ€¦â€ he hesitated, â€œWhatâ€™s life like there?â€
I shrugged and said, â€œItâ€™s just a private college, Master. The only real difference is that we canâ€™t have any contact with the outside world without permission.â€
â€œAnd that they brainwash you to be like this,â€ Spencer gestured at me.

The words made me shiver. I nodded and agreed, â€œAnd that, yes Master.â€
â€œHow do they do that?â€ Spencerâ€™s hand moved up my leg, and I could tell that whatever had him asking about this, my answers were turning him on. He added, â€œDo they drug you? Is there some kind of sci-fi machine they hook up to your brain?â€
In my head, I pictured Etiquette class, Professor Horn hypnotizing the class with films, with his beautiful voice. I opened my mouth to tell him a little about what class was like, but all that came out was a brainless and perky, â€œThat information is proprietary. This Doll is unable to discuss it.â€
I clapped a hand over my mouth in surprise.
Spencer cocked his head at me, then he laughed.
