CMA Awards Vocal Group of the Year nominee RASCAL FLATTS will release THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL, their first-ever Christmas album, on October 21. The much-anticipated 10-track collection was produced by Rascal Flatts and features moving and powerhouse performances that the trio is known for, while offering personal touches to some fan-favorite staples of the festive season. THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL opens with a rousing rendition of Joy To The World, features a sentimental version of Silent Night which opens with vocals from the children of all three band members and adds some Motown flair with Stevie Wonder s Someday At Christmas. The true standout track on the record comes in the form of A Strange Way To Save The World, a reflective song originally recorded by 4Him, which has been given a contemporary update by the trio. It probably seems crazy that we waited this long to release a Christmas record, said Jay DeMarcus. We just wanted to do it right! There are certain songs I think most everyone wants to hear during Christmas, and we wanted to put our own special spin on those songs, while adding in a couple of our personal favorites. We had a blast making this album, and being in the producer s chair ourselves, makes it extra fun and challenging for us." Currently nominated for CMA Awards Vocal Group of the Year, Rascal Flatts has sold over 23.1 million albums, 32 million digital downloads worldwide, as well as earning over 40 trophies from the ACAs, ACMs, AMAs, CMAs, People's Choice Awards and more, making them the most awarded Country group of the past decade. The trio recently added to their many accolades, scoring their 16th #1 single with their summer anthem I Like The Sound Of That. Known as one of the hottest-selling touring acts in any genre, the group celebrated a major milestone of 10 million tickets sold this past month, following a rousing run of headlining shows.
