The Norse Directive: A Sean Wyatt Archaeological Thriller (Sean Wyatt Adventure Book 5)
Over two thousand years ago, Julius Caesar lost a weapon of untold power in a shipwreck.
When Adriana Villa goes missing during her search for a device called, The Eye of Zeus, former government agent Sean Wyatt is called in by the president to find what it was she was looking for. Once more, Wyatt is in a race against time as he speeds across the world to Rome, Athens, and to the Ionian Sea. He must unlock the riddles that have baffled historians and treasure seekers for thousands of years if he is to discover the mysterious object.
But he is not the only one searching for The Eye of Zeus. There is another player in the game, and with his wealth and power, he might be able to leverage the balance to suit his evil desires, which will mean financial ruin for all of Europe, and perhaps the world.
Along the way, Sean and his sidekick, Tommy Schultz, find themselves in a pulse-pounding race to the prize filled with bullets, close quarters combat, and an underwater treasure that could alter the course of history.
The Grecian Manifesto is Ernest Dempsey's fourth book into the genre of thrillers and mysteries, and is one of his best sellers. This story takes the characters across the globe on a wild adventure that, if not kept suppressed, could cause major political and financial upheaval.
Travel with Sean Wyatt as he pieces together a sequence of ancient riddles in this suspense packed thriller.
If you love fast, up-tempo stories that don't get bogged down in a lot of bull, this series of thrillers is for you. With suspense and romance, conspiracies and secret societies, mystery, and white hot action, you're sure to keep turning the pages until you realize the story just ended. But beware, this book is not for the faint of heart. In the world of high stakes adventure, things can get pretty violent. Consider yourself warned.
Q: What made you want to write an international mystery series like this?
A: I grew up watching movies like Indiana Jones and The Goonies. Those movies were so fascinating to me. I always wanted to be an adventurer that discovered ancient treasures, not for the financial wealth, but because I always thought, and still think, it must be so amazing to find something that someone left hidden hundreds or thousands of years before. At that moment, you are the first person to see that artifact in a long time. I also love suspense action fiction stories. Jack Reacher, Jason Bourne, Jack Ryan, are all pulp heroes I enjoy following. It seemed logical to make Sean Wyatt like one of those guys, but one that also has a background in history.
Q: There are several books in the Sean Wyatt series. In what order should they be read?
A: The first three are a trilogy, but you can read them out of order if you really want to. I'd start with The Secret of the Stones and then go to The Cleric's Vault and The Last Chamber. The Grecian Manifesto is the fourth book in the series and, like all the forthcoming books in the series, will stand alone.
