Kelly thought she was starting over, but sometimes the past—and its ghosts—won’t let you leave it behind.
After a mental breakdown nearly tore her family apart, Kelly, her husband Joel, and her daughter Freya are more than ready for a fresh start in a new apartment in a new town. They move in to Halsham Heights Luxury Apartments, excited to put the past behind them. The past, however, is not so easily left behind, Kelly discovers.
Shortly after moving in, Kelly begins seeing visions of the apartments’ history as an asylum for the criminally insane. The disturbing images she sees bring back her fierce paranoia that her daughter’s well-being is in danger.
Kelly quickly finds herself in a quandary: Should she shrug off her worries, knowing that she is prone to paranoia and mental instability? Or should she risk straining her marriage and being institutionalized to fight for her daughter’s safety?
