2012 release, the second collaboration between Rock icon and former Doors keyboardist Ray Manzerek and poet, playwright, songwriter and novelist Michael McClure. While not widely known, McClure was a close friend of The Doors lead singer Jim Morrison and is generally acknowledged as having been responsible for promoting Morrison as a poet. This live performance, recorded at an old church, features new and older poems. Apart from Manzerek and McClure, this recording also features Larry Kassen on flute.
