First, he endures sitting alone in bondage, enduring an old-stress position punishment where many outlaws before him suffered horribly.

Then, he's forced to spend the night in rusted, heavy leg irons and manacles whose weight against his limbs rapidly grows painful. He can't see out of his small, solitary prison in the middle of nowhere, but high vents expose him both to the brutal mountain heat and bone-chilling desert cold.

Western Justice exposes Neal to sharply contrasting realities of cruel punishment and kindness so sincere, it brings him to tears. In the morning, he and Martin will head for the wilderness. Will this be a start of a new understanding for Neal?
