Whilst initially written to help recover from the trauma she suffered as a child, Leah Kane now wants to use her own experiences to ensure that no child suffers at the hands of abusers again, helping survivors see there is hope regardless of what has gone before.

This book is not written to win literary awards. Its my words, my feelings. All I want to do is open peoples eyes to the ever growing issues of abuse. I feel like taking on the world to protect every child and stop every perpetrator. It's impossible, I know, but this book is the first part of my story, this is what happened, I hope to publish my journey to overcome it in a few months and following through with my own personal projects has made me more determined to continue raising awareness of the abuse that happens behind closed doors. It s not about being a do-gooder, its about making a stand, showing that this behaviour is unacceptable and giving every child the start they need. I wish I could offer this book for free but unfortunately I cannot do that long term so instead it's on for the minimum price.
