The White Cat is a noisy, crowded club, a sort of masculine retreat where the members occupy and preoccupy themselves mainly with politics and poker. "The White Cat Never Sleeps" proclaims the sign over the door, but, when murder enters those chambers, the victims will sleep the deep, long sleep of the dead. It is up to a clumsy, well-meaning lawyer, who gets involved with two delightful old maids and one beautiful girl, to solve the case of "The Window at the White Cat."
