This One's for You / Heaven Only Knows

Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the Soul/R&B star on one disc: This One's for You (1982) and Heaven Only Knows (1983). Teddy Pendergrass was so prolific during his time with Philly International Records in the late '70s and early '80s that there was an abundance of unreleased recordings left in the vaults. Pendergrass' near-fatal 1982 car accident kept him out of the studio for a few years, but, in the meantime, PIR issued these two albums of previously unreleased material. Each album is loaded with enough love and smooth grooves to keep the R&B and pop purists happy for a long time to come. Both of these albums are currently unavailable in the U.S. Edsel. 2005.
