This neighbrohood library features a plexiglass door and plexiglass side walls. This design makes it easy to spot the books inside. Also featured is an asphalt roof with a built in solar light. The light will come on at dusk and turn off at dawn. The light has a solar cell on the roof that recharges the batteries during the day. I make all my little libraries from Cedar with a plywood roof for added durability. Your library will arrive with the finish level you choose, Sanded and ready for you to complete the finish, primed, or fully stained and varnished. The window is made with shatter resistant plexi glass for added safety. -The book area is approximately 14 1/2" wide and 10" deep and 19" tall. -The opening at the door is approx 11" x 14". -A adjustable and removable shelf is installed inside to allow you to customize the library to fit your books. Your library will arrive with all the brackets and screws required to mount it to a 4x4 post. The 4x4 post is not included, since they would double the shipping price. A post can normally be purchased locally for less than $10. You will need a screwdriver and a small bottle of exterior wood glue to complete the installation.
