First time on CD for this 1979 album from the iconic singer, songwriter and performer. While Carole King was one of the most prolific and successful songwriters of the '60s, she didn't release a bona-fide solo album until 1970. Nobody could have predicted that her 1971 sophomore solo album, Tapestry, would become one of the biggest selling and most influential albums of all time. While the albums that followed in it's wake are certainly more than worthy of your time, they didn't achieve the same success and have largely been forgotten.
