Itâ€™s the first of December and itâ€™s been a while since private eye Nick Dante has had a case worth investigating. When a sound engineer asks Dante to prove his company didnâ€™t leak the new album by pop mega-star Maya Prada, Dante is reluctant to get involved. Dante doesnâ€™t like the case or his client Andrew Grey. Even though, to be fair, as a self-proclaimed aspiring curmudgeon, he isnâ€™t fond of most people. Danteâ€™s main priority in life is to find a quiet spot to finish his pint. However, his priorities change when he meets the beautiful and irreverent Ronnie an employee of Greyâ€™s. While trying to keep his eye on the case and off of Ronnie, Dante stumbles around London drawn into a world of multinational record labels, shady ex-military contractors, angry producers and several people from his past who donâ€™t want to wish him a Merry Christmas.
