Trigger finger is a painful condition that affects a wide swath of the population. It most frequently occurs in adults ages 40-60 but can affect people at any age. Similarly, while it can beset anyone, it happens more often in individuals that use their hands for their work, or work in an industry that requires repetitive hand motions.
