Pianist Mike Wofford is joined by jazz greats Holly Hofmann and Terell Stafford.
The great Terell Stafford joins Wofford and Hofmann on this delightful excursion through Wofford's brilliant arrangements of Esperanca by Vince Mendoza, Karita by Bobby Watson, Soul Street by Jimmy Forrest, Pure Imagination by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse, The Girl From Greenland by Dick Twardzik, M-line by Holly Hofmann and Mike Wofford's original The Dipper. Mike Wofford decided to call the CD Turn Signal because ''It represents a departure for us and signals a turn in another direction from our previous recordings''. Wofford was musical director for Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan and a mainstay in Shelly Manne's groups as well as in the Lighthouse All-Stars.
