Hanayama UFO puzzle may take more time than a space trip to Mars and back to master. This is a level 4 puzzle on a scale on 1 to 6 where 6 is the most difficult. A new 2019 release. Most will find the UFO Puzzle an excellent challenge. The center round area of the puzzle has a 4 segment sphere which slightly resembles a round rubik's cube. Requires much thinking, planning and many attempts at rotating the center pieces to unlock the. Equally challenging is to put the puzzle back together. Occasionally someone will accidentally separate the pieces and think they are a genius !!!! NOT SO ! Mastering the puzzle means you can disassemble and assemble the six pieces easily. Meaning you know exactly which moves to execute to untangle the pieces and then to re-assemble.
Solving any Hanayama Puzzles is not an accidental lark, but a true understanding of how the pieces need to be manipulated. NO FORCE is ever required to solve the puzzle.
