This item is a prism in the shape of cube. White light coming in from one side gets split into three colors, each exiting from a different side of the cube.
Mine looks almost perfect to the naked eye, only under magnification are some insignificant flaws visible, and those only along the outer edges.
Suitable for non-professionals to make some experiments for explaining the basic theory of light.
