This attractive, space saving RAW WOOD Ironing Board Cabinet mounts on wall studs or can be recessed between studs (trim not included). The unfinished cabinet is designed to protrude only 6" when mounted on the wall and provides ample room for storage of your ironing products. Birch plywood is used for the frame and shelves of this cabinet with MDF door which makes the product very sturdy and durable. There is no leg that goes to the floor on this ironing board cabinet. The leg shown in the photos rests into the back of the cabinet to safely support the ironing surface. FOLLOW THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. PLEASE READ THESE MEASUREMENTS CAREFULLY BEFORE ORDERING. The board is over 3 feet long (38") when open. The overall dimensions are 42 1/2" tall x 13" wide x 5" deep. It is designed to fit between 16" centered 2x4" studs when recessed. You may want a carpenter's assistance for recessing and we suggest cutting a pilot hole first that can be covered by surface mounting the unit if needed. If there are no obstructions in the wall where you wish to recess it, cut a rough opening measuring 42 5/8" x 13 1/8" x 5 3/4". Remember to determine the height needed for the ironing board BEFORE you cut the wall! Installation instructions are included and should you have any questions, please call the customer service number on your packing slip.
