Rick Myers, his parents and siblings, like most families in the south, went to his mother’s parents’ house for Thanksgiving and Christmas until they passed. After that, they gathered at first one then another relative’s house for the holidays. Finally everyone settled on going to the Orson’s large house for Thanksgiving.
Rick loved his Aunt Sarah but not Uncle William, the slob who was her husband. Their house had three bedrooms and a basement game room. Rick always shared the game room with his female twin cousins, who were a year older then him. Through the years, seeing them once or twice a year, he had learned a lot. They were now in their first year at Georgia and Rick was attending the University of Georgia on a football scholarship next year.
Everything changed during that Thanksgiving visit when he was eighteen.
