We call it UPX50+ because of the extra ultraviolet protection it provides to our customers. Our UPX50+ UV technology actually improves with washing based on the Transmittance or Blocking of Erythemally Weighted Ultraviolet Radiation through Fabrics_AATCC 183-2014 test. This equates to an actual UPF of 324 after washing 25x times. The maximum UPF rating is 50+. The 4.1-ounce, 100% microfiber fabric is both breathable and lightweight. The fabric is further enhanced from an innovative mechanical stretch, which decreases dry time and feels light on the body.
