Includes the world premiere recording of In Moonlight: an arrangement for solo viola, strings and harp of Elgars famous Canto Popolare.

It was in the London of the late 1960s that Zukermans love affair with English music began. Befriended by Jacqueline du PrÃ© and Sir John Barbirolli he discovered a natural affinity with the music of Elgar and its world of nobilmente.

This album made in Londons Cadogan Hall celebrates Zukermans lifelong love of this sublimely moving music.
