About the Author
Ashish Gujral is an alumni of University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; Penn. State University and IIT Roorkee, India. He has been working in the telecom industry in a senior management and consultant role for about 22 years with several organizations in India and the USA.
Ashish took up astrology around twelve years back. It started as a simple desire to learn a few Vedic principles and through them predict likely events. The journey though turned out to be one amazing roller coaster ride with its many highs and lows, leading to extensive research on the subject and finally steering him to becoming an author.
This book is a reflection of his journey thus far, which comprised of his own bias and beliefs in astrology, objectively overcoming the ones that did not satisfy him and ultimately realizing the joy of a newly formed perspective by integrating the Eastern and Western thought on astrology. Here he attempts to articulate and answer some of the key questions facing astrology.
What can Astrology deliver? What was its purpose? Why did it form a part of Vedangas? How and why it works? Can it be substantiated?
