Vice Pro Golf Balls (One Dozen)
The micro-molecular structure of Cast Urethane is extremely soft but also very resistant. The Cast Urethane cover of the Vice Pro performance golf ball is about twice as thin as a conventional DuPontTM Surlyn® cover (which is usually used in distance golf balls). The result is a superbly smooth and on-demand feel of the ball. Despite the small thickness of the cover, the durability of the Vice Pro compared to other Urethane golf balls is surprisingly high.
Cast Urethane used in the Vice Pro golf ball is obtained through an extremely complex manufacturing process that stands out due to its special adhesion to the green. The result is a unique spin rate and therefore excellent control (S2TG: Stick to the Green).
The disadvantage of conventional Cast Urethane golf balls is that the cover is susceptible to UV light due to the contained chemical constituent benzene and therefore may yellow rapidly. Our engineers have slowed this chemical process significantly using a special formula in the final Urethane coating.
