Victorinox Swiss Army Adaptive Sports Tinker Pocket Knife
Fans from across the nation voted, and the two winning designs are now in production. The creators of the two winning designs visited the North American headquarters of Victorinox to see their designs come to life.
The Keep Moving Forward Tinker tells the story of warrior Jeffrey Adams, which was translated into a knife design by artist Trevor Denham. This red, white and blue knife features their design, as well as the Wounded Warrior Project's logo.
Jeffrey Adams left college early to serve in Baghdad, Iraq. While looking for improvised explosive devices (IEDs), he was hit by a land mine that took one of his legs. Jeffrey endured nearly 30 surgeries, and was at last able to walk across the stage to get his well-earned diploma at graduation.
Jeffrey believes the experiences of injured warriors make them stronger. He says, "If you can change something, do it. If you can't change it, than accept it and move on. It's easier said than done. But things are what you make of them. You just have to keep moving forward."
This knife's design of the soldier with a prosthetic leg standing tall at attention signifies that Jeffrey's loss of a leg during battle does not make him any less of a soldier. Like others who are injured during battle, he learned the importance of accepting and moving forward.
The bestselling 3.5 inch Tinker Swiss Army Knife was designed to be slim and lightweight. It easily slips into a pocket, ready when you need it. This mainstay of the Swiss Army Knife colection will quickly become your go-to tool.
