WE Games The Original 100% Silicone Tournament Chess Mat - 20 Inch Board, Red
TOURNAMENT READY: This chess mat meets the World Chess Federation’s (FIDE) and the US Chess Federation (USCF) proportions standards for tournament play. The board measures 20 inches (50.8 cm) with 2.25 inch squares (57.15 mm) 0.042 inch thickness (1.01 mm). Complete with algebraic notation on the perimeter of the squares to simplify lessons and study past games. Perfect for any chess club, park game, school, or tournament games. This board will fit chessmen with 1.75 to 2 inch diameter base.
EASY TRAVEL: While we recommend you store it flat or rolled, this floppy chess board only weighs 10 oz. and will easily fold to a compact size for travel. Will also roll to fit a standard chess bag. Great option for playing outdoors as the corners will lay flat and the silicone grips the table or playing surface.
NON SLIP & WASHABLE SILICONE: Clean up is easy. To clean the board, wipe with a damp cloth. Made out of food grade silicone, the same material as on baby pacifiers. Great for felt bottom chess pieces as they won’t slip on this non slip surface.
GOOD FOR YOU: The benefits of chess are enormous. Those who partake in chess boost their critical thinking, problem solving, spatial awareness, and socialization skills making it a great addition to any board game collectioin or household.
