The long side stretches between the players, with the short side facing each player. From the player's perspective, the angle will make the grid appear square. . The objective of the game is to dominate and control territory while capturing your opponent's pieces. The shifting balance of territory and power can unnerve even the most disciplined and intellectual player. The board arrives folded and may have creases upon arrival. These creases will relax within a few days if left out on a flat surface. May require a heavy book to accelerate the flattening process. Once the creases come out from original manufacturer's packaging, the board will lie flat without creases.
