WHEELIE: Southside Skulls Motorcycle Club (Skulls MC Book 9)
Wes “Wheelie†Anderson had been nothing but a screw-up for so long that Dax Marshall almost cut him loose when he was a prospect. But Wheelie knew being a Southside Skull was what he wanted more than anything else and he was willing to buckle down and clean up his act to do it. But..Wheelie's penchant for a good time and his happy-go-lucky nature landed him at a party he never should be at and with a girl named Pamela that he never should been with, especially because the one he really wanted was her sister. None of that stopped him however when Pam climbed on the back of his Harley and he took her for the ride of her life. Sadly, it would be the last ride of her life as well.
An agonizing scream draws Dax upstairs to a room in the club the next morning, and a gruesome scene greets him when he arrives. Making matters worse, if they could get worse, was the discovery of who Pam really was. She was one of the daughters of Boston's newest, “tough-on-gangs†DA, Bart Kent.
Sabrina, devastated when she finds out her sister is dead, goes looking for the last person she saw her with. Relentlessly knocking on Wheelie's door, Sabrina insists on knowing why he killed her sister. At the end of the day, Wheelie has her almost convinced that he's not the killer. But, Sabrina's not ready to stop there. She wants the man that did this and she's willing to do whatever she has to do to find him. Dragging Wheelie into a plan to help her, brings the two of them closer, but threatens Wheelie's position in the club, as well as his very freedom. When the only suspect the Skulls had shows up just as dead as Pamela, things get even more confusing...and the appearance of Wheelie's estranged brother only stokes the fire that's already consuming his life.
Meanwhile, Bart Kent is not about to sit back and watch a romance blossom between his only living daughter and one of the dirty bikers who killed his baby. He's willing to do whatever he has to in order to see someone pay...anyone, as long as it's a Skull. But even the new DA has secrets, and one of them is so explosive that it could ruin everything he's built...and his daughter Sabrina holds the key.
Can a woman struggling with grief and harboring secrets, and a man swimming in a sea of chaos, even begin to build a relationship? If the threat of a serial killer, an over-zealous DA and more family secrets than a soap opera don't scare you...climb on the back of Wheelie's Harley and hang on tight!
