This AT-1 BRN accessory is a humble but extremely useful accessory used for attaching a guitar strap to the headstock of an acoustic guitar that does not have a strap button in the heel of the neck.

This is the way all acoustic guitars were traditionally made for centuries and the way many guitars are still being made, Martins and Guilds for example. Also commonly used on many other instruments that need a place to attach a strap, such as Dobros, bouzoukis and mandolas.

It is used by slipping the AT-1 under the guitar strings at the headstock, pushing the metal button through the leather strap and then using the metal button as your strap button to attach any standard guitar strap. This eliminates the common "tie it on with a shoestring" approach, looks much more professional and is also much more secure.
