It will open your eyes to the fascination of machinery that you can actually see and hear working, that you could diagnose and probably mend yourself, at a pinch! This is NOT a maintenance manual, it's more a sort of autobiographical reference work. My intention is to simplify and explain the choices available and the influences which made the (mostly) British Motorcycles built up to about 1972 so different from those today...without needing an engineering degree!
