Minky stretches perpendicular to its selvage but is stable in the other direction, so be aware of that when selecting and cutting your pieces. It also will not shrink, so if you are pairing it with a shrinkable fabric such as cotton, make sure to pre-wash your other pieces before sewing to avoid distortion of the final product. Use a walking foot, pins, and pre-basting to avoid slippage, and you are well on your way to a beautiful and silky soft creation!
