Temperature presets for various meat types and tastes(doneness).
This thermometer is designed to measure meat temperature with the point tipped Probe 1 and oven temperature with the round tipped Probe 2. Out of the box, it comes with a spare meat probe. If you wish to measure two meat spots, you can plug the spare meat probe into the Probe 2 socket. As Probe 2 is designed for oven temperature, you cannot select temperature preset for this probe. You can manually adjust the target temperature for Probe 2 to match the desired meat and doneness.
