Woodpeckers Woodworking Rule, 36 Inch, L2R & Center Laser Engraved Scales, USA Made Precision Aluminum Woodworking Ruler with Beveled Edges
36 INCH WOODWORKING RULER - Woodpeckers 36 Inch Woodworking Rule is straighter, heavier, sits flatter, and is easier to handle than any other woodworking rule. Add to that an engraving tolerance of ±.004" total accumulated error and we’re talking about the finest rules you can put in your workshop.
LEFT-TO-RIGHT & CENTERING SCALE - This woodworking rule features two sets of laser engraved scales. One side has a standard L2R scale and the other side features a centering scale.
BEVELED EDGES - The woodworking ruler features a 30° beveled edge specifically designed to bring your scale down to your work, preventing parallax error.
ADD-ONS - The Woodworking Rules have 3 different optional add ons you can use. A Hook Stop to give you a physical reference at the end of the tool. A Rule Stop to make repetitive marks. A Protractor Head to turn your rule into a tsquare and protractor rule.
MADE IN USA - Like all Woodpeckers tools, the Precision Woodworking Rules are precisely machined and carefully inspected in our Strongsville, Ohio facility.
What makes our Woodworking Rule better than your average yardstick? First, its much more accurate with precise laser engraved markings. Second, its straighter and heavier. Third, it sits flat because of a recess down the center of the bottom surface. Fourth, it has both a standard and a center scale. Fifth, the markings are engraved on a 30 degree bevel for easy alignment to pencil marks. And finally, it looks nicer. When you look at all the different rules being sold in retail stores, they're all pretty much intended for framing houses or general purpose use without any thought on how to make them better for those of us who build furniture and cabinets. Tape measures are great if your building a shed. They're not dependably accurate enough for finished furniture parts. Tape measures also don't make good straight edges to draw lines with.
