For generations, Worthmore Brand soup has been a Cincinnati favorite. In 1920 a local butcher named Phil Hock ran a meat store and began selling a family favorite of mock turtle soup. His soup became so popular, he stopped selling meat and concentrated on selling soup. The business grew, new products were added and eventually he named it Worthmore Food Products Company. Today his business is being run by the second and third generations of the Hock family. Worthmore Mock Turtle Soup is the same as when butcher Hock first started selling it, full of special spices and lean beef and will soon become a family favorite.
