YaDu Roll & Press Quilting Tool Seam Roller for Quilting
Very useful product in the sewing room and in the craft room. You can use it to press open seam before going to the ironing board. Also can use it to make sharp creases when making greeting cards.
You can use it in place of a bone folder with paper. It is great, leaves no marks. Bone folders can leave marks on color papers, and this doesn't.It also is a nice to use to run over small stick on letters
The Roll & Press works like a charm, pressing the seam with just a few rolls. When you can't have the iron up and hot (when children are running around your work area), the roll & press makes short work of pressing the seam you just stitched. What a great tool.
When opening the seams on your quilt blocks to press open with the iron, first rolled the roll and press over. You could then press the seam and keep your finger tips out of the way of the steam.
This little gadget saves so much of running to the ironing board to press seams when you are machine piecing and when you are sewing together quilt blocks by hand. When the block is finished, the seams are where they should be, so the final press with the iron goes much faster....and no more burnt fingers!
The Roll & Press is a convenient and quick way to press seams at the sewing machine. Roll to press a seam or fold. Straight, curved, or paper pieced seams. It won't pull or distort fabric; the wheel is tapered to focus pressure on the seam. Comfortable, ergonomic handle. Perfect for paper-piecing or laminates; also use to seal glued seams on leather and felt.
How to Use Support project on firm surface Seam allowance facing up Keep tool centered on seam Roll over seam to press open, to side, or press a fold Too much pressure or repeated pressing can stretch the fabric
