This 45° Chamfer router bit has a 3/8" cutting depth and a 1/4" shank. While Chamfer bits are Mostly used for edging, these bits can also be used to create Miter joints of various angles. Other available angle degrees are 11.25, 15, 22.5, 30 & 45. Cutting these angles into 2 adjoining pieces of wood will create Miter joints of 22.5, 30, 45, 60 & 90 degrees respectively.
