 RED 15-25lbs (1/2 x 41in.) Provides a minimal amount of resistance - mainly for biceps, triceps and shoulders - for young teens and women - good for rehabilitation.  BLACK 50 -75lbs (7/8 x 41in.) Light to medium resistance - mainly for biceps, triceps and shoulders - for young teens and women - good for rehabilitation. Provides a minimal amount of pull up assistance.  PURPLE 100 - 120 lbs (1 1/8 x 41in.) Medium resistance for shoulders, biceps, triceps and back- pull up assistance for vary light weight men and women.  GREEN 120 - 175 lbs (1 ¾ x 41 in.) Medium to medium plus resistance - good for leg and back work outs - pull assistance for men who can do 1-5 unassisted pull ups or vary light weight men and women. This is probably the most universal size.  BLUE 175- 230 lbs (2 ½ x 41 in.) High resistance - for heavier men or weaker men and women- if you cannot do one unassisted pull up this is where I would start and then go to the green band.  ORANGE 230 - 250 (3 ¼ x 41in.) Very high resistance - Used mainly for Dead Lifts and Power Lifters. ï¶ There are 6 different size resistance bands (each sold separately). Choose one or more as listed by the various descriptions. They are used to improve your strength, flexibility, speed, agility, body weight and over all athletic fitness. They are used by Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainers for core body training. Note: Your assistance pounds will vary as the band stretches. So if you weigh 200 lbs., it does not mean that you won't stretch a 200lb. band. A good purchase combination would be: buy a band one size below and one band two sizes below the resistance that you are looking for. Use them together a first, then go to the heavier one only, then progress to the lighter one. This will give you three different resistance levels with just two bands to purchase.
