Marcy was a librarian in Eureka. It was a small town in the west and she was fresh from a break-up. Trying to keep herself occupied, she fell into her work, desperately trying to forget that future that was now not going to happen. She had loved her fiancÃ©e, but at the end of the day, he had called it off and she was left wondering where that left her.

A young girl moved to town and Marcy became close with her. Liz was a teenager and she was having problems at home with her divorced parents. They fought like most parents do and she was dragged into the middle.

Wanting to help, Marcy go involved and soon she found herself falling for Lizâ€™s dad. Liz tried her best to set them up and it finally worked. Marcy was able to see that they were meant to be together and she realized then that it was time for her to take the leap. It was time for her to do something that she had never done before.
