From Oscar-winning director Paolo Sorrentino (This Must Be the Place, The Great Beauty) comes Youth starring Michael Caine and Harvey Keitel.The movie follows a retired orchestra conductor on vacation in the Swiss Alps with his director best friend as they reflect on their creative careers. While relaxing at a hotel spa, the conductor is approached by an emissary of the queen to return to London and conduct a concert for Her Majesty. Packed with sharp dialogue and a wide cast of unique holidaymakers, Youth is a vibrant contender heading into awards season. The soundtrack is full of songs by contemporary indie darlings including The Retrosettes, Bill Callahan and Mark Kozelek (as well as his alter ego Sun Kil Moon). Classical works by Stravinsky and Mercadante mix expertly with Paloma Faith and David Byme while composer David Lang features on the closing symphony track.
