This book was written for anyone supervising people in the global organization. The book is designed to be used as (1) a handbook for the classroom or self-study and (2) a resource for problem-solving in the workplace. Each chapter discusses what supervisors can do to be effective in their work, particularly for those supervisors looking for some guidance in how to supervise people in a global organization. Three key aspects of supervisor responsibilities are addressed:
1-Supervising those who work for them effectively, efficiently and productively 2-Supervising the flow of material, goods and services effectively, efficiently and productively 3-Carrying out both of these responsibilities safely and assuring that others do the same
