This post-fermented (Shu) Pu-erh tea cake which we call "826" is the benchmark of quality for post-fermented Pu-erh tea cakes. It undergoes 86 steps of processing and quality control to achieve the finished tea product. The tea leaves are uniform and clean with obvious golden leaves. The tea leaves are grown in high altitude which means they are large-leaf variety and packed with more antioxidants. The tea cake has a lasting pleasing Earthy fragrance, and when brewed creates an amber colored tea which has a slightly sweet aftertaste and crispness combined with a full-bodied mouthfeel normally associated with high quality Shu Pu-erh teas. This tea is often paired with our "816" Sheng Pu-erh to compliment any connoisseurs collection.
