- EASILY CONNECT LOW PROFILE HANDRAILS TO STAIRCASE FITTINGS – Attaching small or low profile handrails to balusters, spindles, newel posts, and other staircase fittings is no longer a hassle. The patented UT gear-driven mechanism speeds up handrail installation to staircase fittings by eliminating the tedious steps of conventional techniques. The railbolt's open channel allows the housing to be dropped directly onto the shaft, eliminating the need for cumbersome nuts and washers.
- FAST INSTALLATION – Perfect for quickly connecting stairway components. Install the screw shaft in the rail using a wrench or optional Zipbolt 40.500 6mm deep socket, place the housing gear inside the railing and tighten with the included 4mm hex bit using a screwdriver or cordless drill. NOTE: Impact drivers should not be used when tightening the gear housing.
- A COMPLETE PACKAGE – The package includes everything you need to attach a handrail to various stairway fittings. It contains 2 micro rail bolts, 2 wood plugs, and 1 hex bit (4mm). Use the included instructions to guide yourself through the installation process.

The Zipbolt UT Micro Railbolt was developed for use in low profile or small handrails and is perfect for joining handrails to balusters, spindles, or newels. This model retains all the features of Zipbolt's UT Railbolt but in a reduced size. Both diameter and thickness/profile are reduced, which allows for a joint to be made with a smaller entry hole. The Micro Railbolt shaft has a hex shape midway and using the optional deep socket drill bit (See 40.500 6mm Deep Socket Tool) makes the whole joint assembly quick and easy. This pack includes a 4mm hex bit with quick release shank.
