Introduction
Gradual filter is a MUST for digital users, because the digital sensor has very low exposure tolerance.
It gives you the freedom to create your own work by allowing you to have more control of the cameraÂ¡Â¯s aperture, exposure time and sensor sensitivity settings. Effectively, the ND16 filter helps to avoid overexposed photos.
Functions
1. Enable slow shutter speeds to be used, especially with fast films, to record movement of subjects such as waterfalls, clouds, cars, seas, etc.
2. Decrease the depth of field by allowing wider apertures to be used, which helps separate subjects from their background.
3. Graduated ND filters provide a gradual color transition for a smooth blending effect. Perfect for changing the mood of a picture.
4. Allow cine and video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to film subjects such as snow, sand or other bright scenes which would normally cause over-exposure.
Installation
Step one: Screw the adaptor ring onto your lens.
Step two: Slide the filter-holder on the adaptor ring until it snaps in place.
Step three: Slide the filter (up to 3) into one of the filter-holder slots.
Step Four: Mount Lens Hood onto your filter-holder by pressing on the upper and lower parts of the lens hood.
