International superstar Shakira is lending her Grammy-winning voice to Gazelle, the biggest pop star in Zootopia.
The all-new original song, "Try Everything," was written by singer-songwriter Sia and songwriting duo Stargate.
Director Byron Howard said, "For the role of Gazelle, Zootopia's most beloved superstar, there was only one person on our wish list: Shakira. Luckily for us, she said yes. Her immense talent and charm bring Gazelle and her song, 'Try Everything,' to life."
"Zootopia" features score by Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino. Giacchino has credits that feature some of the most popular and acclaimed film projects in recent history, including "Inside Out," "Jurassic World," "The Incredibles," "Ratatouille," Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" and "The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes." Giacchino's 2009 score for the Pixar hit Up earned him an Oscar, a Golden Globe, the BAFTA, the Broadcast Film Critics' Choice Award and two GRAMMY Awards. Additional projects include collaborations with Disney Imagineering on music for Space Mountain, Star Tours (with John Williams) and the Ratatouille ride in Disneyland Paris. Giacchino also was the Musical Director of the 81st Annual Academy Awards. Currently, his music can be heard in concert halls internationally with both "Star Trek" and "Star Trek Into Darkness" films being performed live-to-picture with a full orchestra.
Film Synopsis:
The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it's a melting pot where animals from every environment live together a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn't so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde, to solve the mystery.
