- FUN FOR ALL AGES: Ak-ro-nym is a fantastic game to play with kids, tweens, teens, or adults. The different age groups allow for a variety of play styles from the adorable acronyms created by your child to the inappropriate ones made by one of your adult friends. For the best results, play with a group of 4 – 10 players from ages 12 – 112. (Yes, we do mean 112 years old).
- ACRONYM CARDS: Acronyms have been around since the Romans, but recently, they’ve made quite a comeback with the younger generation. Slang terms like LOL, FML, ROFL, IMHO, have been absorbed by our society and have become the natural lingo for conversations of text, email, and even in person. We’ve expanded upon that idea and created a little acronym competition for all your friends and family!
- TAKE IT ANYWHERE: Our pack of acronym cards comes in a well constructed box for simple portability. Let your kids take it with them to a sleepover take it with you to a house party, or even bring it over for couple’s night for some added evening fun! Are your kids going to camp this summer? Taken directly from our success on Kickstarter, The Ak-ro-nym card game comes with a timer, a box to hold the cards, 2 decks of cards, and a thinking pad and pencils to jot down notes during each round. The rules are simple: create funny acronyms using the 3 letter cards and the topic card. Then vote on whoever has the best idea! The person who takes home the most votes after 6 different rounds is the winner! Each round has a different twist, making you fight for your points all the way to the bitter end for even more fun! Play to your audience, whether that means the most immature acronym will turn the tide, or the silliest lingo will be the for sure winner! This card game can easily be adapted for all sorts of environments. If you're a teacher, use these cards as an ice-breaker or as a way to efficiently use your kids free time during the school day. Take the set with you on an outdoor camping trip for a game under the stars! It's a fantastic party game and an even better birthday present for someone special!
