Have you ever thought about the proper way to drink coffee? Sure, you might think: ""Pour coffee into the mug, lift the mug, drink, repeat as necessary."" Yeah, that might be true, but under the surface, many small processes take place that are essential for a proper mug filled with black gold. We've decided to make these hidden mechanics visible with the help of the Science Mug: Computer Sciences!
If you really break it down, there are only two things to observe: the amount of liquid in the mug and the temperature of the coffee. If the mug is empty, you have to pour in new coffee. If the coffee is cold, you need to discard the liquid and replace it with hot coffee. And if the mug is full and the coffee is not cold, there's only one thing left to do - drink it. Since numbers are often more reliable than words, we've put these mechanics into easily comprehensible functions. Now you only need the corresponding sensors to build your very own fully automatic coffee-refiller. Or you could just use your eyes and your hands. But that would be boring ;).
