NOTE - Two common issue experienced when buying a DC power extension cable.
1. Wrong Plug Size - This is the most common problem. Please check your device by measuring the barrel plug of the power adapter. This will only accept 1.35mm (inside diameter) x 3.5mm (outside diameter) plugs. 1.3mm x 3.5mm plugs are commonly used for small digital device such as wireless IP camera. However, not all wireless IP camera uses 1.35mm x 3.5mm plugs. Please check the plugs size before purchase.
2. Lack of Power - The longer the cable, the more resistance and power loss, and hence requires more power from power supply. Most commercial products do not provide a strong power adapter. Please make sure you have adequate power supply to use extension cable.
