The Megger 212000 series insulation resistance tester measures insulation resistance and voltage in electrical installations, building maintenance, and electrical testing. The average-sensing meter help provide accurate readings when measuring linear loads, where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal waveform. This analog meter has manual range selection for flexibility of use and a guard terminal to eliminate surface current leakage. Selectable test currents allow use in a variety of applications. Electrical test meters report electrical circuit properties, such as voltage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity. Available in handheld or benchtop form, they detect electrical problems in equipment, wiring, and power supplies.
