pH Test Strips for Urine Saliva and other Non Viscous Liquids
In order to test the acidity and basicity of your saliva or urine, dip the tip of a pH test strip in it for only three seconds and then pull it out. Within 15 seconds, the tip of the pH test strip will change color based on the pH of the liquid you tested. The results are fast and accurate, so you don't have to double check them. These pH test strips give you accurate results without medical equipment. Normally, the human saliva pH level is in the range of 6.8-7.4. The optimal time for testing the saliva pH is from 10 to 12 a.m. It is best to test it on an empty stomach, two hours before or two hours after a meal. If the urine pH level fluctuates in the range of 6.0-6.4 in the mornings and 6.4-7.0 in the evenings, it means your body functions normally. The most optimal level is slightly acidic, ranging from 6.4 to 6.5. The urine pH level of below 5.0 indicates its severe acidity. If it is above 7.5, then it is of sharp alkaline reaction. If the pH level of your saliva or urine is significantly different from the these values, you need to consult your doctor.
